What do you want to work out?
Mixing ratio (Part A : Part B)
:

Type the ratio from your own bottle label or data sheet.

Ratio is specified

Ounces on a bottle can mean fluid ounces or ounces by weight. Check which one your label uses.

Which part do you have?

Example defaults are shown for illustration. Replace both values with your product data sheet values when converting between weight and volume.

Use only Part A and Part B from the same product. This calculator does not support pairing parts from different products, because the maker sets the ratio.

Calculator results are planning estimates. Check your resin maker's instructions, mixing ratio, and product limits before pouring.

Working with leftover resin and hardener

Use the ratio printed for the same Part A and Part B system. If you know the amount of one part, the ratio gives the matching amount of the other part. When both amounts are known, the calculator estimates how much can be used while keeping the stated ratio.

If the label specifies a volume ratio but you want to measure by weight, the conversion requires the density of both parts. Replace the calculator's example density values with the values from your product data sheet before relying on a cross-unit result.

Do not combine components from different products or alter the ratio to use up leftovers. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for storage and disposal.

Leftover Resin Calculator

Work out the matching amount of Part B for a known amount of Part A, or estimate how much of two leftover amounts can be used together. Keep the ratio specified for the exact resin system.

How to use the leftover resin calculator

  1. Choose whether you need the missing part or want to use two leftovers.
  2. Enter the ratio and its basis, by volume or by weight.
  3. Enter the amount you already have, or both leftover amounts.
  4. Choose the amount unit and enter density values from the product data sheet if conversion is needed.
  5. Review the matched amounts and the calculated total.

Do not change the product ratio

The ratio is set for a particular resin and hardener pair. Adding extra of one part does not make a batch cure more reliably, and components from different systems should not be combined.

Density matters when the stated ratio uses volume but you measure by weight, or the reverse. Replace illustrative density values with the values for your own product before using a converted result.
